Hello, readers, we are with good news about WhatsApp Digital Payment feature. Finally, now we can pay through WhatsApp. Yes, WhatsApp has brought its payment feature know as WhatsApp UPI Payments Feature, and it will go live at the end of February, i.e., next month.
As we all know that last year reports said that WhatsApp is going to launch its payments service based on UPI, now it’s finally announced that the payments feature is available only for beta version users and it will go alive for all from next month, i.e., March)

Features available in WhatsApp payments
As we all are aware of UPI payments using different bank based apps like phone pe, paytm, pockets, etc..,
- Now it’s time for WhatsApp payments, all the features that you’re enjoying today on other UPI based apps can be availed in WhatsApp messenger also and this feature available in attachment segment next to Documents, camera, gallery, audio, location, contacts then you will find payment option.
- Once you click on payment function, you will get the opportunity to verify your mobile number by sending an SMS from the registered mobile number, to avail the UPI in your mobile and add your desired bank and create a new UPI I’d in WhatsApp and enjoy uninterrupted services.
- As per the reports, iOS beta version v2.18.21 has the UPI-based payment option, while WhatsApp Android running version v2.18.41 has this option available for some users anyway all we get this feature by the end of February or in the early days of March.
WhatsApp receives its nod from Reserve Bank of India to launch or add UPI to its messenger platform on mid of 2016, and this option is available only for Indian citizens those who are having a bank account under RBI rules and regulations.
