According to the latest report by Telecom lead,

Initially, Reliance Jio has provided the dead line to be a Jio Prime membership which will be valid through 31 March 2017 to 31 March 2018, but after users reported issues such as failing in making payment and other problems Jio provided extra days with a new offer called summer surprise offer.

Later Reliance Jio had to withdrawn Summer Surprise offer because TRAI said they are violating terms and conditions.
Soon after this Jio came with a new move with Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan offer which provides same benefits and validity with the same price tag.

The report cites that “from midnight onwards degradation of select none recharged customers will start. The customers will be a mix of different types of customers across all JCs. The sample size will be small tomorrow and will ramp up later.”

“Messages will be sent to these customers informing them of the degradation and urging them to recharge immediately. The message will say that all data and outgoing calls will be barred. In reality, outgoing voice calls will be allowed between Jio and Jio customers tomorrow and pulled back later,” further adds the report.
